Something old, something new: a traditional block, “Pinwheel,” pattern, combining purple vintage reproductions from the Textile Museum in Lowell, MA, and a contemporary Kaffe Fassett fabric. What’s not to like. The raspberry sashing gives the twirls some zip. The backing is a gray bubble fabric. Machine quilted by Keepsake Quilting in a spiral pattern.
