I made this quilt during the years I took care of my elderly parents in Tennessee. It was a hard time all around. The dark moving stars reflected all the troubling emotions felt during that time. I hand quilted this quilt using the “Baptist Fan" pattern-- an appropriate finishing touch for my parents.
